Ministry Transitions
- Teaching Elder Steven Wright has been received into Covenant Presbytery from Southern Louisiana Presbytery to become the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Jackson, TN.
- Teaching Elder Rob Callison has been received from South Coast Presbytery to minister out of ecclesiastical bounds with Equipping Leaders International. Rev. Callison will also be working at River Oaks Reformed Presbyterian Church in Germantown, TN.
- Teaching Elder John Sartelle’s terms of call with Christ Presbyterian Church in Oakland, TN has been changed from Assistant Pastor to Senior Pastor by a vote of the congregation and approved by Presbytery.
- Teaching Elder Dawson Bean’s call as RUF Campus Minister at UT Martin has been dissolved. Rev. Bean remains a member of Covenant Presbytery and is designated as being “without call”.
- Teaching Elder Richie Session’s call as Senior Pastor at Independent Presbyterian Church has been dissolved and Rev. Sessions has transferred to Nashville Presbytery and accepted a call as RUF Campus Minister at Vanderbilt University.
Licensure
- The following men passed their licensure exams and are now listed as Licentiates of Covenant Presbytery, able to preach in the pulpits of our Presbytery on a regular basis: Mr. Jason Anderson, Mr. Mike Ford, and Mr. Scott Davis.
Candidates
- The following men became candidates for gospel ministry under the care of Covenant Presbytery: Mr. Jay Sawrie, Mr. Jim Umlauf, Mr. Landon Ditto, Mr. Chris Leuck, and Mr. Craig Jones.
